FOR THE CAPTAINS
As a captain you are a special part of this unique league. You place your players in position to learn some valuable things about pocket billiards and how to improve your game. You also share with them some great times when you interact as a team. Your players will appreciate this wonderful chance to perform in front of an audience and be cheered on by you and your team mates. You are in a position to provide that leadership that is so important to team sports.

Get your friends together and build that team. Focus on having a good time. Pool Teams of America is a team sport. It is a chance to learn. Select your team mates with the idea that you want to learn, enjoy and perform. They will be proud to be on your special team.

The game is played for the sheer fun of it. When you have players like this in your league, you can depend on strong support year after year.
Your Responsibilities
Here is how it works. As a Captain you will be involved in bringing your team into first place by making smart decisions. That’s what can be so much fun. Plan to arrive early so you can practice each discipline with your team. When you play “Performance Pool” your game will improve in both 8 Ball & 9 Ball. You are learning how to do the shots and how to use the strokes that will come up in every game. “Performance Pool” is the best training experience that any player can ask for. Your players will appreciate your kind efforts to help them with their game. Feel Free to ask a Qualified Monk Master to spend a day with your team. It is very affordable and a great experience for all. After the league ends, enjoy yourself at the venue. Play some eight ball with your friends. See how many times these performance pool shots come up.
Having Fun Is The Top Priority
Have fun. This game is for everyone. You will need to make sure that everyone is going. Everyone is playing corectly. And most importantly, everyone is having fun.Get your team anxious. Get them excited and all spun up. Thats what makes a great night.

Have fun. Make Noise. Lets hope you can get a crowd. Get that adrenaline pumping and have a fun time. Bring in more players from the crowd every game.
YOU Are the Leader
The Pool Teams of America will hold tournaments throughout the season, so you will want to work with your players. Sit down and talk with them. Get to know each other. Once you all know each other pretty well, you can invite a Monk Master to your town to work with your teammates. You can buy books and DVDs to help you understand the shots. Take time to learn.
